Hello ladies,

I am back once again. All the health issues are hopefully behind me. I am planning a few freebies, but that will take a bit of time. Maybe next time I log on!!!

I have been working hard on my CT commitments and so I have another gorgeous kit for you from the awesome ScrappersDelights at Prettyscrappy.com. This kit is called Bundle of Joy (Girl), she also has Bundle of Joy (Boy) these kits are gorgeous, I chose the girly kit as I only have granddaughters and even though they are both tom boys, I think I love the pretty, dainty elements and the girly colors:Isn't it just totally adorable, I love all the cutesy little elements and I made this layout using the kit:

YAY!!! I'M BACK.....

Hi ladies,

Silly me forgot my password, so could not log in, hence why I have been away for a very long time.
I am back and have been working with a kit by an awesome designer Scrapbookizate, she designs in both full size and Tagger size kits, so you have a choice. I have come to love Tagger kits, so much more in each kit and smaller sized layouts (800 x 800 pixels) just great for printing.

I am finally coming to terms with my Diabetes, but at the moment I have good and days and bad days, glucose levels can't make up their mind what they want. I am finally getting back into my CT work, so you will see a lot more layouts from me and shock horror maybe even a freebie or 2.

The kit I have been using is called Casino:
and here are the layouts I did using it. The first is called "Never Cheat.....", I took some photos of my neices having some fun posing and decided they worked for this kit:
and the second one is called "Queen of Hearts" and is of my gorgeous granddaughter, who is the Queen of Heart:

Isn't it a great kit, you can use it for all sorts of layouts and it's a lot of fun. The kit is available from KreativeKreationsKorner, so pop on over and check out the site, there are some awesome designers and gorgeous kits in the shop.

I have been very busy with CT duties lately and here are a couple more layouts I have done using the gorgeous kit Dangerously Sweet by Wicked Princess Scraps at KreativeKreationsKorner. This is a stunningly beautiful kit, with lots of neat elements and papers:
Beautifully cute aye? While you are over there you should check out all the work by their awesome designers (lots of sales at the moment too), you are bound to see something you love.
Here is the first layout:Don't you think she has that bored obnoxious diva look about her, she definately has the attitude down and she's only 8.

These three have been friends forever, and are still going strong, I think they will be BFF's for life.

NEW LAYOUTS TO SHARE!!!

Hi there ladies,

How's life been treating you lately, mine's gone downhill a little, I have just been diagnosed with Diabetes, which was a bit of a shock. So for me it's having to stab myself everyday (which is so exciting NOT!!). I'll get adjusted to it eventually, I suppose, feeling a little sorry for myself, just hold on a minute while I slap myself (pull your socks up woman and get on with life!!).

Okay that's my feeling sorry over with for the day!

I have had the pleasure of working with this awesomely, gorgeous kit by Designs by Ali, she is one of the awesome designers at a new site KreativeKreationsKorner. This is a great site and well worth popping over and having a look at. They cater for all tastes and have full size kits and tagger size kits. So why don't you all pop on over and have a look around, introduce yourselves and have some fun doing the challenges available.

Ooops off subject again. The kit is called Sweet Tales and here is a preview of it:

I have NEWS!!!

Hi ladies,

Wow!!! didn't realise I hadn't visited my own blog in so long. How was everyone's Christmas!! Mine was lovely all family, sun and fun. Went to the beach for little while and laxed out in the sun (while it was shining). Took the grandchildren shopping, for little ones I am surprised but their mother has certainly taught them to shop 'til they drop. lol!!

Now for the fantastic news. I work for an awesome designer Sweet Tomato Designs and at the end of last year she decided to consolidate all her stores and become exclusive at Polka Dot Plum:As you can see she is having an enormous sale of all her gorgeous kits to celebrate her grand opening, which is happening on the 1st of January. So why not pop on over and have a look she has a wide variety of kits and each one is gorgeous. Here are some layouts I have done using them:

Hi all,

Just me again, thought I should pop in and let you know, the family is fine again now over all the coughs and colds, I hate change of season colds they seem to last forever. Mind you I think the change of season itself is taking forever as well. Here we are in Spring (waiting expectantly for Summer) and we are still getting snow on the hills, but then we are also getting lots of Spring rain.

Thought I would also let you know about the upcoming Speed Scrap at Designs in Digital. They are always so much fun, so why don't you pop on over on Wednesday the 11th at 9pm EST for some fun and chance to get a gorgeous layout scrapped at the same.

Hi ladies,

Back again. How was your day today, mine was terrible, it has done nothing but rain for 3 days, that along with earthquakes and screaming grandchildren is driving me nuts!!! Both of them will be gone tomorrow, one off the school and the other off to daycare, so even if it is still raining at least it will be quiet and peaceful. Wow!!! I get off the subject very easily.

Next Designs in Digital Design Star

Hello, back again. I will have another freebie available for you tomorrow this one is called Romantic Getaway and is for the Browniescraps unbaked challenge, here is a preview of it:

Now for the reason for the title of this blog. I have joined this design challenge at Designs in Digital. It runs from the 1st of May and starts with a warm up challenge. Here is the preview of my Warm up challenge kit called Delicate Blooms:

This will be available for download from the Designs in Digital store on the 1st of May and I will post the link then. There are 60 of us in this design challenge, so they have split us into 2 groups one uploading to the Designs in Digital store and one to the Just Digi Layouts store, you will have to be registered at both places if you want all the kits. Just imagine 60 free mini kits each week for 6 weeks. Wow!!! Freebie heaven here I come.

So please pop back on the 1st and I will have all the links for you.

One more bit of information. I am also doing another blog train for The Halfbaked Girls at Brownies Scraps starting on the 1st of May, so there will be a lot of links and freebies for you at the beginning of the month. This blog train is a Mother's Day one and has a lot of gorgeous kits.

Hi, back again. This time I have some news, I have decided to join the designer contest at Funky Playground Designs, so for you it means more freebies and for me a lot of experience in learning to make my own stuff.

This week is the first week and our assignment was to make 5 patterned papers and 8 elements, now what is a kit without solid papers, so I have gone ahead and made up some solid papers and a few more elements to match the kit, which will be available for download as soon as I have uploaded it to the Catch the Flag gallery.

Hi, I have been MIA for a little bit, put my back out and have been in agony for the last week. I can only spend limited time sitting at the computer. Feeling a little better, so hopefully things will return to normal soon.

Hello again,

I am so forgetful, been so busy with CT's and life in general that I forgot to come back to the blog and post my layouts. I have been a bit under the weather lately and found it hard to keep up with everything, but feeling better now so back into it.

I want to start putting freebies up again too, so that is next on the list of things to do, hoping to get stuck in over the next couple of days.

Hi,

I have recently joined another CT at CoolScrapsDigital and have had the privilege of using some very beautiful kits. The latest is called Jack Frost by EMS Arts very cool looking kit. It's available from Coolscrapsdigital, pop on over and check out the awesome kits in the store.

Hi, just a quick post today, I have been busy with CT layouts over the last few days. Hello again, just popped in to post a couple of layouts I have done using a fabulous kit by Scrapkitten . The is kit is called Butterscotch Swirl . This is another awesome kit, with great colors and elements. Pop on over to the shop and check out all the other great kits and commercial use items available.
Here are the layouts I have done using the kit. The first is called Reflections and is of my sister on her wedding day I just love this photo:

Next is Climbing and is a bunch of the kids in the family having fun on the climbing ropes at a local park:

I have also been working hard on a freebie for you, but my program decided to crap out on me and does not work anymore, so I am in the process of learning PSE6 and once I have mastered it, I will finish off the freebie and get it loaded.

Hello again, I have been accepted on to a new CT. TreasuredScrapDesigns pop on over and have a look. The kits are awesome and the colors are great. Here are 2 layouts I have done using Girlish Spring by AmberRoseDesigns. This kit is awesome, the layouts are endless a very very versatile kit, can be used to create pages for any occassion, male or female.

It's my birthday, YAY!!!! Just thought I would toss that in there. Had a quiet day, babysitting my gorgeous granddaughter. I just love her so much, she is 2years old and talks away to me, runs me ragged, but I love it.

I chose to play with Black Tie Affair for my first kit from her. This is an awesome kit and very versatile. Below is a preview of the kit and the two layouts I have done.

Last day of the Easter Break over here in New Zealand and it is poring with rain, so the grandchildren will be stuck inside all day. Oh Joy!!! Wow!! It's been a while

I have been very lax with blogging lately. I've been so busy with CT's and challenges, I totally forgot about the blog.

Things are calming down now and life is returning to normal, so you will see a bit more of me now. Been working on some QP's so will hopefully have them up here soon.

For another year, the grandchildren are happy with all they received and life returns to normal.

At least for a few weeks, until the rush of getting organized for school begins.

and here are a couple of layouts I have done using the kit. It's a really great kit, cool colours.

Both the layouts are of my granddaughter Maia, the first at 6months the second at 20months.

YAY!!! I can safely say that this year everything is going along great, Christmas shopping is done, tree is up.

Now is the time for me to relax a little bit before the grand child starts on her Christmas break from school, 8 weeks of having her at home, I'll be completely nutty by the time she goes back to school.
